ITI Rearea
Collective (IRC)

Iti Rearea Collective aims to educate resettled migrants to become entrepreneurs in order to achieve financial independence and social inclusion by creating profitable businesses. The impact of this initiative includes increased confidence, well-being, job opportunities, livelihoods, social inclusion, and cohesion.

ARCC, in collaboration with the IRC, proudly launched two innovative business programmes: NEST and SOAR. Designed specifically for forced migrant communities, these programmes aim to support aspiring entrepreneurs in launching or expanding their businesses. Alongside ARCC, Nga Tāngata Microfinance, the University of Otago, and the Women Entrepreneurship Centre have joined forces with a new partner, Momentum Mind Lab, this year. The Collective’s overarching mission is to empower migrant entrepreneurs, enabling them to attain financial independence and social inclusion through the creation of thriving businesses.
