Aotearoa Resettled Community Coalition (ARCC) is a non-profit organisation that serves as the collective voice of communities with a forced migrant experience. We work at local, regional, and national level to contribute to positive change and support the settlement, integration, and thriving of these communities.
We consist of twenty-six member organisations representing twenty different countries/ethnic backgrounds, including Afghanistan, Burundi, Cameroon, Congo, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, Kurdistan, Myanmar, Palestine, Pakistan, Rwanda, Somali, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria and Uganda.

Our Mission
To empower forced migrants to become fully settled into their local community, offering them opportunities to be affirmed in who they are and the places they come from, and positively contribute to their new home for better settlement outcomes in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Our Vision
To be a trusted community advisor and a leading agency on the settlement and integration of forced migrants to communities, organisations, funders and policy makers throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.

Our Workstreams
Workstream 1 : Resettled Communities Wellbeing
The goal of this workstream is to provide resettled communities with services that are effective, timely, and culturally appropriate to improve their wellbeing.
Workstream 2: Advocacy for Change
The aim is to ensure that New Zealand's resettlement systems are well-coordinated, fair, and culturally sensitive. It also aims to foster compassion among the public for forced migrants and their role in welcoming new arrivals.
Workstream 3: Growth and Development
This workstream focuses on the growth and development of ARCC as an organization. The goal is to establish strong management and governance, diversify resources, and increase visibility to ensure sustainability and effectiveness.
