Hnin Pwint joined ARCC as Community Navigator in March 2021 coordinating the organisation’s community cases and also leading recruitment and participant support for the Iti Rearea Collective program. In July 2021 her responsibilities expanded to include the role of Project Assistant, supporting implementation of all ARCC projects. She is from Myanmar, leaving to study a Bachelor of Education Studies at DePauw University in the United States of America, which she completed in 2009. Hnin Pwint arrived in Aotearoa New Zealand in 2012 to pursue a Master of Education having received a New Zealand Government scholarship. She now calls Aotearoa New Zealand home, with a lovely family and conducting freelance interpreter work alongside her role with ARCC. She loves being involved with diverse communities and supporting them grow to reach their dreams.
